Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay - Face mask

"WORLDS BEST FACIAL"

Dubbed as being the 'World's best Facial' the Aztec Special Indian healing clay has quite a moto to live up to.

The tub contains 1lb of Indian healing clay, which when you see the size of the tub is alotttt. For anyone who loves a bit of DIY'in Skincare they'll love the process of making the face mask!

On the instructions it says to mix equal parts of the Indian Clay with Apple Cider vinegar, you can also use water instead or a mixture of both if you have sensitive skin - personally I've only ever used Apple Cider Vinegar which was a risk as I have very sensitive skin however it didn't cause any problems! Yay

Pulsating

On to the actual feeling of the mask it reads on the packaging that you will feel your face "pulsate" when I read this I hadn't a clue what pulsating was supposed to feel like.. well not until I experienced it...
The only way I can describe it is that it's a weird tingly sensation - you feel like your skin is tightening and pulsing like crazy! after the 15 mins I wont lie it does get a little uncomfortable and my skin was tightened so much so my lips looked huge and it hurt to move my face as parts of the mask would crack.

The Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Skin feels and looks visibly clearer afterwards
  • Skin has a natural glow to it
  • Removes dry patches
  • Reduces black heads
  • It's relatively cheap (£11.45 Amazon)  for the amount of clay you receive.

Cons

  • Can be slightly uncomfortable to wear for 20mins as it has quite an intense Pulsating feeling.
  • Can be a bit messy to make and you need to buy the Apple Cider Vinegar separately
  • Can cause some minor breakouts days after the mask is used, as it brings impurities to the surface.
  • There's a tendency for waste due to trying to create the correct consistency.

Overall I give the mask 8/10 its not a face mask I could use daily as it is super intense however using it once a week it made my skin visibly clearer, However since it can be messy making the face mask its not as conveniant as a ready made mask in a tub.
Skin Type Recommendation for this Mask - Oily Acne prone skin.
